System Flushing & Chemical Treatment

Closed heating and chilled water systems need clean, properly inhibited water to operate efficiently and avoid corrosion. We deliver pre-commission cleaning, dynamic flushing, inhibitor dosing and ongoing water treatment programmes for closed systems — protecting plant, energy efficiency and warranty cover.

Why it matters

Untreated closed systems suffer corrosion, microbial fouling and scale — all of which reduce heat transfer, waste energy and ultimately destroy plant. Manufacturer warranties on boilers, chillers and heat pumps almost always require documented water treatment.

Pre-commission cleaning is the moment to get a system right. Skip it or rush it, and the system runs sub-par from day one with corrosion debris circulating through every component.

Who it's for

  • New-build and refurbishment projects requiring pre-commission cleaning
  • Buildings with heating, chilled or process water systems
  • Plant rooms with corrosion, fouling or pH issues
  • Operators wanting an ongoing closed-system treatment contract

What's included

  • Pre-commission cleaning of new pipework systems
  • Dynamic flushing and chemical clean
  • Inhibitor and biocide dosing
  • Sample analysis (Fe, Cu, Cl, pH, conductivity, dip slides)
  • Ongoing scheduled treatment and reporting visits

What you receive

  • Flushing and cleaning record
  • Water analysis reports for each visit
  • Recommendations to maintain inhibitor reserve
  • Trend reporting across visits to spot deterioration early

Our process

A repeatable, engineer-led delivery sequence.

  1. 1

    System review

We assess system volume, materials, plant and current condition; review existing analysis if available.

  2. 2

    Pre-commission cleaning

On new systems we deliver dynamic flushing, chemical clean and final passivation.

  3. 3

    Inhibitor dosing

Correct inhibitor and biocide are dosed to manufacturer concentration; reserve is verified by sample analysis.

  4. 4

    Ongoing treatment visits

Quarterly (or risk-led) visits sample, dose top-up and check dip-slide microbial activity.

  5. 5

    Reporting & trend analysis

Each visit issues a report; annual trends flag deterioration early so corrective action stays cheap.
