TEST & DOSE / HEATING & CHILLED WATER

LTHW & CHW testing and dosing

Understand the current condition of your system water and discuss the treatment it needs. Testing and dosing support for LTHW and CHW systems, from a specific concern to planned maintenance.

Keep treatment connected to the test results.

A heating or chilled-water circuit can have an existing treatment programme, a new maintenance requirement or results that need follow-up. AP Environmental provides testing and dosing on both LTHW and CHW systems. The useful starting point is the circuit itself: what it serves, how it has been treated and what has prompted the enquiry.

What we can help with

  • Testing enquiries for heating and chilled-water systems
  • Review of supplied results and treatment history when scoping work
  • Chemical dosing requirements for the relevant circuit
  • Discussion of repeat visits and follow-up testing

When to get in touch

For planned maintenance, a change in treatment arrangements, recent system works or a concern raised in water test results. Tell us about recent drain-downs, top-ups or changes to the installation if known.

Agreeing the scope

Define which circuits need testing, what dosing work is required and how follow-up will be handled. Keep closed-system testing separate from Legionella sampling of hot and cold water services.

Helpful information to have ready

  • The latest test results, with sample dates and locations
  • Current chemical products and previous dosing records
  • Circuit volume or drawings, where available
  • Site access and any existing maintenance schedule

You can enquire before you have every detail. Start with the information available and we can discuss what else is needed.

Your questions, answered.

Can you test and dose both heating and chilled water?+

Yes. AP Environmental provides testing and dosing for both LTHW and CHW systems. Include each circuit separately when describing the site.

Do I need to know which chemical to use?+

No. Provide existing product information and results if you have them. The treatment requirements should be discussed against the system and its specification.

Can we discuss ongoing visits?+

Yes. Tell us about the circuits, the current programme and the support you need. Visit scope and frequency can then be agreed for the installation.
