Describe the installation first
Include the tank’s location, approximate dimensions and construction if known. Photographs and an existing inspection report help explain both its condition and the space around it.
Separate cleaning from work to the tank
Cleaning and disinfection concern tank hygiene. Refurbishment concerns work to the tank itself. If your report identifies both, include both requirements in the enquiry. The appropriate scope depends on the installation and its condition.
Explain the water-supply arrangements
Say which areas the tank supplies and whether there are restrictions on water interruption. Include occupancy, critical uses, access limitations and the site contact who can help plan the work.
Be clear about related services
If the requirement includes sampling or wider hot and cold water disinfection, say so. These should be discussed explicitly rather than assumed to be part of every tank job.
Choose a starting point
You do not need to settle on the final solution before enquiring. Send the findings and ask to discuss the scope. Explore tank refurbishment or tank cleaning and disinfection ↗.
